Two Legatum Centre Fellow founded ventures have been nominated by Prince William for The Earthshot Prize.

Sanergy provides safe, affordable and accessible sanitation and waste management solutions for growing cities. Takachar transforms massive amounts of waste biomass into marketable products around the world. They are among 15 of the first ever finalists up for the award.

The Earthshot Prize is the most prestigious global environment prize in history, designed to discover and scale the most inspiring and innovative solutions to the biggest environmental challenges facing the Earth. The Prize aims to turn the current pessimism surrounding environmental issues into optimism, by highlighting the ability of human ingenuity to bring about change, and inspiring collective action.
