Matt Linnell is the Associate General Counsel at Legatum. Matt covers all legal matters across Legatum, including public and private M&A, litigation, intellectual property, contracts, tax, and general legal support of Legatum’s philanthropic initiatives.

Prior to Legatum, Matt was a commercial litigator in the Los Angeles offices of two international law firms. He holds a BBA in Finance and BA in Journalism from Baylor University and a JD from Pepperdine University School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of California.
