Mark Stoleson is the Chief Executive Officer and a Partner of Legatum.

He has been with the firm since its inception in 2006 and has served in various capacities including Head of Group Investments. Mark has worked with his partners at Legatum to incubate a number of the firm’s key philanthropic endeavours including the END Fund, Freedom Fund, Luminos Fund, The Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship at MIT, and the Legatum Institute Foundation in London.

Prior to Legatum, Mark was a corporate finance and M&A attorney with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld.

He holds a BA in International Relations from Occidental College and a JD-LLM from Duke University School of Law.
